Very "simple" book not many details.
Good information. Concise and to the point. I am beginning to train my mini for visits to the nursing home where I am employed. This book has valuable guidelines for me to start the training.
When purchasing the book I thought it would be full of training tips for therapy work - instead I got a book giving information every horse owner should basically already know. I found the book not helpful and in talking with the author later very rude. But the purchase and delivery was okay.
Having studied pet therapy via the Delta Society in order to go through their registration process with my own miniature horse I can tell you that along with their workbook this book should bring you up to speed on the specifics on what you need to know to do pet visits with a miniature horse. It helps fill the gap in information that's usually geared mostly towards dog-human teams. Don't hesitate to add it to your cart and have fun reading it. Find Rosie (the mini pictured on the cover) on her Facebook page where she posts about her visits when she has the time.
